So iv been all over the fucking place. these last 2 - 3 weeks of not making music was a little weird for me. simply because i was hard at work trying to discover myself. And in which i did! and im overly excited!
i got some tracks right now. I will post here in a moment, iv worked on them for like the last 2 - 3 weeks. BUT COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WTF TO DO WITH THEM!!
I finally fucking broke through jesus christ. I force to much of my work based on the outside influence of the world. So i need to stay solidified in my being, to obviously be the best of who I am. not who the world says, or wants, or influences me to be. So expect Derrich John music. nothing else. dont like it? expand ur mind and come back. and u will. lmao.
Music is expanded consciousness. time to start planting mah seeds ^^

Ah... Brass Knuckles...
Just a good dance song. Everyone dancing in a club wearing Zoot suits with fedoras.. would be fucking awesome. Plus having a live brass band, swinging their trumpets n' shit would be awesome, like when a climb happens, lights n visualizers go all crazy and the brass band starts swinging and getting into it.
Than it breaks to soft, and the whole room is like cascaded under water or something. obviously with screens on the walls, n floors. With like a soft blue so not only do you feel and hear the music, you can see it as well.
Than the climb comes, colors change, and everyone is like AHH!!! than BOOM! brass comes in again and everyone is all energetic and dancing. Would be amazing... Brass band with a Punch.

You ever have just that pause in life? where you notice everything is so beautiful, but you think further, and find out how horrible everything is? and how you admire the beauty of the earth, but you despise its ugliness as well.
I made the song based on that pause in life, like this fox.
you just look up into the sky, and ponder for those brief 30 secs of peace in life.
Been listening to a lot of rock lately, and noticed they all want 1 thing.

Ah yes... The Daydreamer...
This about a man, who is hard at work, and is famous for doing things he loves to do. Always gets interviews, always gets donations, gets everything for doing what he loves to do.
So why is he daydreaming? He wished to truly become a Cosmic Traveler..
not a successful business man, although its something hes good at, and something he loves. He still wishes he had said no to the contract that created his life now.
Because now if he goes and does what he wants, to research the Cosmic. He will need to start from the beginning, and will never get to where he wanted to get to, for he is to old now, and again all the knowledge he has for business, he would trade it all away, for the knowledge of knowing the Comic.
Because someone loves doing something, doesn't always mean thats what they want.
A man hard at work, who everyone soon wishes to be.
the same wishes he was not, what he is. But instead, become what he wanted.
